Meet Our Committee
Our preschool is led by a dedicated team of trustees and committee members who work together to ensure its success. Each member brings their unique skills and enthusiasm to support the pre school’s mission and community.
Alex Thoma (Chair & Sustainability Lead)
As Chair, Alex coordinates all committee activities and serves as the main point of contact for staff, parents, and relevant authorities. Representing the committee when needed, Alex chairs meetings, ensures they run smoothly, oversees staff line management, and takes the lead on recruitment—delegating tasks as necessary.
Emma Waters (Secretary)
Emma ensures that all committee meetings are well-organized by preparing agendas (in consultation with the Chair) and recording minutes. Emma also manages correspondence on behalf of the committee, circulates important documents, and keeps everyone informed and up to date.
Stephen Vitkovich (Treasurer)
Stephen manages all financial matters for the preschool, including maintaining clear and accurate records, preparing budgets, and overseeing expenses. From managing staff wages to issuing payments, Stephen ensures the preschool’s finances are handled responsibly and transparently.
Alice Morgan (Safeguarding Lead)
Alice oversees that the preschool’s safeguarding policies are up to date and ensures that, if an issue arises, the preschool follows the correct procedures. He plays a key role in maintaining a safe environment by ensuring policies are followed and the preschool is compliant with relevant safeguarding standards.
